In Egypt, Sudan, and South Sudan, where many live under the poverty line with less than $3 a day, the struggle to meet basic needs is a daily reality for countless families. Thanks to your support, SMRO is making a significant difference, currently aiding over 25000 families annually.
Your contributions help us to provide vital assistance that addresses the immediate needs of these families, offering not just financial support, but also essential items like medicine, clothing, blankets, and even appliances and furniture. The support also includes funding for education, ensuring that children and young adults have access to the learning opportunities they desperately need. Each family’s aid is tailored to their specific situation, with amounts ranging from 500 to 3000 Egyptian pounds per month.
